What is Geothermal?
It is a system that uses the earth’s constant underground temperature to heat and cool.

 

Is this New?
No. It has been around for about 50 years but recently the equipment has been greatly improved.

 

How popular is it?
There have been approximately 1,000,000 units installed in the US

 

Primary Use?
Residential and Commercial.  A lot of schools have these systems.

 

Does your Climate matter?
No. the transfer of heat is underground where it is a constant temperature no matter the air temperature is.

 

Does it cost more?
It cost more up front but over a short period of time it saves you money.

 

How much to install?
This depends on the size of your home that you will be heating and cooling. Call us and we will be glad to give you an estimate.

 

Is closed loop better than open loop?
The closed loop system costs more up front but has a lot less maintenance. With the open loop system you have pump maintenance and sometimes water quality issues.
